We had the wonderful opportunity to curate for the first edition of BEAUT, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and put out another iteration of Songs From the Nusantara, a poetic look at the spirit that binds together the lives of us who live in the Southeast Asian archipelago. The curation this time featured works by both native photographers from the region as well as our friends from around the world who have made the region home and comprised both emerging and master photographers. The works in order of sequence are:

Two Cities by Dave Lim (SIN)
The Rat Catchers by Ian Teh (GBR/MYS),
Imagining Flood by Miti Ruangkritya (THA)
Kingdom’s Edge by Richard Humphries (GBR)
Di Bawah by Kit Leng (MYS/SIN)
Kuda Kepang by Cheryl Hoffmann (CAN/MYS)
Signos by Veejay Villafranca (PHP)
Rebel Riders by Muhammad Fadli (INA)

Very special thanks to Bridie Gillmann and the BEAUT! team in Brisbane for putting this together and putting up with the stress! Also thanks to Mark Morris for the video work and soundscapes for the show!
