I invited Beth to share her story of grief, loss and upheaval. To hold a mirror, as it were, to my own. Our connection started on a project where we embarked on a journey to understand peace through people who have experienced war. In many ways this book continues our peace project – searching, finding and folding together. She was there listening to my commotion and guilt and I was there listening to her love and loss.
From two separate encounters that intertwine through the process of bookmaking, ‘… there is no end’ book is a joint meditation through grief that sensitively combines poems with photographic images and watercolour paintings. It invites readers to explore and reflect upon their own journey.
This talk will unpack the progress of the project and discuss how each element arrived at its final outcome.
